'Ad Libitum' (2014)

'Ad Libitum' is a movement based, improvisational solo. 'As desired', 'performed without previous preparation', this solo wants to fix in my memory things that with time otherwise would get lost. As you would do writing every once in a while a journal of thoughts, feelings and memories, I want to do it using movements on stage; stream of consciousness.
“Be now! In the present moment. Not in the past remembering what it was, trying to stick to something that is not any more. Not in the future being anxious about it. Wondering how it will be, hoping. Being in the present, where the past is all included with its consequences and the future is already happening, You find yourself waiting and observing.”
At this stage of the process, after the first 2 versions the performance has a quite clear structure and shape. By practising daily in studio and on stage with audience, I started to sharpen more and more the body qualities that I play with, always being free, aware and available for changes of any kind.
